Chapelier Fou
Very nice performance by Chapelier Fou, including live instruments, two launchpads and – of course – ableton live. win.
Names – Monome Jam
This video features a monome 256, Ableton Live, an awesome voice, great beats and has been shot using a Nikon d5000. ‘Nough said.

Projekktor Zwei
What you´re dealing with here is a pure javascript driven HTML5 video experience. FlAsH is used only whenever there´s no native H.264 support available. In such cases a minimalistic SWF which mimics an HTML5 video element as good as necessary (read: as simple as possible) is used.
HTML5 is coming. It should have taken over the world in about two weeks (slightly optimistic estimation).

Network Graph on GitHub is now Canvas
My advice for web developers: if something on your site CAN be done in Canvas, it SHOULD be done in canvas.
\o/ github just added yet another portion of pure win. The network graph is now done using pure HTML5 (namely canvas + javascript) instead of flash. The blog post about the change also contains some pretty neat thoughts about the ups and down of this technique.
Unicode – Melting
This is a track from the upcoming release by unicode on tonstube.
The video material comes from archive.org. It is completely cc/public domain.
Music and video were created using Ableton Live 8.
Enjoy.
Functional Programming
Lambda calculus was designed to investigate problems related to calculation. Functional programming, therefore, primarily deals with calculation, and, surprisingly, uses functions to do so.
Very nice article to dive into the concepts of functional programing.
Emilie Simon does home sessions. With a Tenori-On. And a steampunk music arm thingy made of pure win. Awesomeness!

Wiedermal Spaß mit Reason gehabt
“Back to the roots!” dachte ich mir heute und habe mich mal wieder an Reason gesetzt, um einen Track allein mit den Mitteln, die Reason bietet, zu produzieren. Nach zwei Stunden Spaß kam folgendes heraus. Enjoy.
